Barcelona El Prat Airport Terminal Guide

Barcelona El Prat Airport has two main terminals: Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2). Knowing which terminal you are flying into or out of will help you plan your journey.

Terminal 1 (T1)

T1 is the newer, larger terminal. It handles most full-service international and intercontinental airlines (like Vueling, Iberia, British Airways, and Emirates).
- Transport: The Aerobús A1 and the L9 Sud metro line serve this terminal. Taxis are available right outside arrivals.

Terminal 2 (T2)

T2 is the older terminal, mostly used by low-cost carriers (like Ryanair, EasyJet, and Wizz Air). It is divided into T2A, T2B, and T2C.
- Transport: The Aerobús A2, the L9 Sud metro, and the Renfe R2 Nord train serve T2.

Getting Between Terminals

If you need to transfer between T1 and T2, there is a free green shuttle bus that runs 24/7. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes.
